When it comes to appliances for house chores, efficient, multi-purpose products that don't take up too much space are ideal. At Lakeland, there's a heated airer which has been praised by customers as 'really neat' and 'a very worthwhile investment'.
The Dry:Soon Mini 3-Tier Heated Airer and Cover is currently available from Lakeland for £129.99, reduced from £189.98, saving shoppers a handy £59.99. The brand says the product has a large capacity for its small size and it dries clothes 'quickly and efficiently'.
The airer features foldable heated shelves and mesh panels on the cover to help with airflow, and, additionally, the cover also turns into a storage bag.

The airer folds to 8cm deep and the running costs are just 6p per hour, the brand says. Despite its small size, the airer can still hold up to 15kg of wet washing and the shelves can be positioned to suit each shopper's washing load and space.
An alternative is this Minky Electric Heated Clothes Airer, available on Amazon for £59.99. The brand says this electric clothes dryer has 12m of drying space and, with its winged design, shoppers can easily dry bedding, clothes and more.
Or there's this Argos Home 11m Heated Clothes Airer with Wings, which is currently being sold for £55. Its drying capacity is 10kg, it can hold one wash load, and is ideal for flat drying, the brand says.
Reviews for the Dry:Soon Mini 3-Tier Heated Airer and Cover are very positive, with shoppers leaving an average four out of five star rating, from more than 40 reviews. One described the product as a 'perfect buy'.
They wrote: "Just recently bought this product - a really neat little airer (that) does a good job of drying clothes. Purchased the cover for it and it works by keeping the heat in an even distribution. A perfect buy." While another said: "We've had this airer for more than five years, and it has been a very worthwhile investment."
A third person said: "Works great with everything, even thick jeans and heavyweight polos. Always use the cover. I tend to leave (it) overnight, but it doesn't need to be. I can't understand what on Earth people are doing that it doesn't work for them. (It's) well-made and easy to unfold/repack. Really happy with the purchase, I only use the tumble dryer for fluffy towels now."
Some have left constructive feedback for the product, too. One person wrote: "I am pleased with the mini 3 tier heated airer and would make a suggestion to improve the product. The on/off switch is at the bottom of one of the uprights and could be placed higher up as it is difficult to reach and not easy to press for senior fingers."
Another wrote: "This heated airer does a good job of drying clothes, instead of using a normal airer in front of a radiator. It doesn’t take up too much space. The bigger one may have been a better choice, but limited space makes this the right one for me."
