Cuffe Parade Metro Station: Mumbai Metro-3 final phase: check fares, frequency, stations & entry/exit points

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the last phase of Mumbai Metro-3 (Aqua Line) on Wednesday, completing the underground corridor from Aarey to Cuffe Parade. Commuters can begin using this stretch from October 9, ensuring faster and more convenient travel across key commercial and residential areas.

Entry and Exit Points at Cuffe Parade
Passengers at Cuffe Parade will have six entry and exit points for easy access:
  • World Trade Centre
  • GD Somani Memorial School
  • Dhobhi Ghat–Dr Ambedkar Nagar
  • St Francis Xavier’s Chapel
  • President Hotel
  • Hotel Ozone Inn
Train Frequency and Daily Operations
Metro-3 services will run more frequently, with trains every five minutes during peak hours. The Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC) has planned around 280 trips daily across the full route to enhance connectivity and convenience.


Metro-3 Route and Phases
The entire Metro-3 line spans 33.9 km with 27 stations:

  • Phase 1: Aarey to BKC (12.69 km), operational from October 7, 2024
  • Phase 2: BKC to Acharya Atre Chowk (9.77 km), operational from May 9, 2025
  • Final Phase: Acharya Atre Chowk to Cuffe Parade (11.2 km) with 11 stations: Cuffe Parade, Vidhan Bhavan, Churchgate, Hutatma Chowk, CSMT, Kalbadevi, Girgaon, Grant Road, Mumbai Central, Mahalaxmi, and Science Museum
Passenger Capacity and Fares
Once fully operational, Metro-3 is expected to serve approximately 1.3 million passengers daily. Fares will range from Rs 10 to Rs 70, and trains will operate from 5:55 am to 10:30 pm.

Connectivity and Integration with Other Lines
Metro-3 connects major commercial hubs like Nariman Point, Cuffe Parade, Fort, Lower Parel, BKC, and SEEPZ. It also links both terminals of Mumbai International Airport and integrates with:
  • Metro 1 (Ghatkopar–Versova)
  • Metro 2 (Mandalay–D.N. Nagar)
  • Metro 6 (Swami Samarthnagar–Kanjurmarg)
  • Metro 7/7A (Dahisar–Airport
  • Chembur Monorail
